A newborn Syrian baby girl, Shahid Al Ali, has spent the first 10 days of her life in an incubator at the hospital.
Alhamdulillah, she’s now healthy and ready to go home — but the hospital is refusing to release her until the family pays $1,000 in medical fees.
Her father, Amin Al Ali, is a daily labourer living in deep poverty in the Bekaa Valley near Baalbek, Lebanon. The family originally comes from Aleppo and now lives in a single rented room, struggling to afford even basic needs.
This is not just a medical bill — it’s a child waiting to be held, fed, and loved at home.
