❤️ In 2025, I travelled across the Middle East with World Care Foundation, witnessing first-hand the hardship faced by displaced Syrian and Palestinian families — particularly widows and mothers struggling to provide for their children.

Those experiences led me to recently take on and support Threads of Care, a livelihood and women empowerment project based in Lebanon. I will also be visiting the Threads of Care Centre in Lebanon soon, to meet the women, see the work first-hand, and better understand how we can continue to grow and strengthen this project.

🧵 Threads of Care – From Aid to Empowerment

Having seen the realities on the ground, I wanted to support a project that goes beyond emergency relief.

Threads of Care directly supports:

* Widows with no stable income

* Refugee women displaced by conflict

* Mothers supporting families under extreme hardship

Through specialist sewing and tailoring training, women are given the tools to earn a dignified income while producing ethical, high-quality clothing for humanitarian use.

This is long-term impact — not temporary relief.
