In Memory of Saeed Sharif

We are once again honoring the memory of our beloved brother, Saeed Sharif, by raising funds to support the oppressed in Palestine. Saeed was a cherished member of the Beeston community in Leeds, known for his unwavering generosity, kindness, and tireless dedication to helping others.

Throughout his life, Saeed devoted himself to serving his community—whether it was through small acts of kindness or larger commitments. He was a true community hero, always ready to lend a hand without expecting anything in return. His countless contributions to our local mosque and the people around him continue to inspire us all.

As part of our efforts to keep Saeed’s legacy alive, we are delighted to announce the return of the “Saeed Sharif Annual Memorial Cup 2025” for its third year running. The charity cricket tournament will take place on Monday, 25th August 2025, at Old Leo’s Cricket Club, Buck Stone Mount, Leeds LS17 5HS, where four teams will once again battle it out for the Saeed Sharif Cup in a fantastic day of sport, community spirit, and remembrance.

We are deeply grateful for your support in helping us honor Saeed’s memory and continue his legacy of kindness and generosity. Together, we can create a lasting tribute to a remarkable man who gave so much to his community.
