Thousands more have been injured, while many remain missing beneath the rubble of collapsed homes or carried away by floodwaters. Roads, bridges, and basic infrastructure have been destroyed, cutting off remote communities from urgent aid.

Safe shelter and protection from the elements
Nutritious food and clean drinking water
Urgent medical support and emergency care
Comfort, dignity, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten
