Daraa, Syria
In Lojat, Daraa, families have returned home after years of conflict and displacement. What they found were towns left in ruins and schools reduced to rubble.
With no classrooms left standing, many children are now attending lessons in temporary tents, set up where their schools once existed.
Learning continues, but without safety, stability, or protection.
Today, children sit on the ground beneath fabric walls, exposed to heat, cold, wind, and rain. These conditions make learning difficult and rob children of the dignity and focus every student deserves.
Education should not happen in survival mode.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
Cabins of Hope will provide safe, simple learning cabins for children in Daraa, replacing tents with secure spaces where learning can continue with dignity.
Each cabin will serve as a temporary classroom, restoring routine, focus, and a sense of normality while long-term rebuilding continues.
A contribution of £3,000 will provide a fully functional learning cabin, ready to support children affected by conflict.
A classroom should be a place of safety.
Not a tent.
Education is one of the most powerful ways to help communities recover after conflict. By supporting Cabins of Hope, you are helping children reconnect with learning, routine, and possibility.
This is not just about classrooms. It is about restoring childhood and investing in the future of Daraa.
