Living in a refugee camp means every day is a struggle. Winter is a particularly difficult time, especially for Syrian refugees in Lebanon & internally displaced Syrians living in makeshift tents in these camps. They have little shelter from the plummeting temperatures, howling winds and snow blizzards. Vulnerable families face hunger, malnutrition, and disease. Sadly, over half of them are children.
World Care Foundation (WCF) teams are on the ground delivering winter survival packs to desperate families. We’re providing:
With these essentials, we can help refugees survive the harsh winter conditions. Please join us as we race to provide for them urgently. £100 can make a massive difference in a family’s life, but any amount you can spare is appreciated.
The conditions in these overcrowded refugee camps are deplorable. There is no heating, electricity, or running water. Everyone struggles, especially during winter, with little or no protection from the freezing temperatures. The elderly, those who are ill and children are particularly vulnerable to diseases that are common in winter. The children are growing up knowing nothing but conflict, hardship, and poverty.
Having fled war or the impacts of the climate crisis, people are now even worse off, fighting a daily battle for survival. With your support, we can provide families with shelter and other essentials to survive.
