Women and girls face unacceptable levels of discrimination and abuse, which is not only wrong but also prevents them from playing a full part in society and decision making. This is down to the gender bias that is still in this day and age deeply embedded in cultures, economies, political and social institutions around the world.
We recognised that many have been forced to abandon their studies or careers and therefore growing up illiterate.
Our Project aims to primarily support, empower and rebuild the lives of deprived and underprivileged women in the UK and abroad for their personal and professional development. This will equip them with life skills which will enable them to create a source of livelihood.
