Ihya Centre Orphanage

The Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“One who strives to help the widows and the poor is like the one who fights in the way of Allah.”

The narrator said; I think he (peace and blessings be upon him) also said:

“I shall regard him as the one who stands up (for prayer) without rest and as the one who observes fasts continuously.”

[Sahih Muslim – 2982]

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“He who takes care of an orphan, whether he is his relative or a stranger, will be in Jannah with me like these two.”

The narrator, Malik bin Anas raised his forefinger and middle finger for illustration.

Alhamdulilah, with your support and duas, we have already reached our target and raised £20,000 towards setting up Ihya Centre Orphanage in Lebanon.  This orphanage will house Syrian orphans and their widow mothers.

Charity Trip

This October, I will be travelling to Lebanon and engaging in the various activities that are mentioned below. 

Alhamdulilah, there are 18 brothers travelling in this group, which is our first. 

In future, Ihya College will be working with World Care Foundation to offer regular international charity trips, something you can also be part of!

Please Note: All my travel expenses have been covered by me personally.  This means 100% of your donations will reach the poor and needy.

Fundraising

Our group collectively aims to raise £30,000.  These funds will be used in the following ways:

• One year’s living expenses for the orphans and widows living at the Ihya Centre Orphanage (Approximately 30 orphans and 10 widows)
• Investment into the Women’s Empowerment Centres, enabling economic self-sufficiency
• Food Parcels
• Winter Packs
• Support for the most needy
