A few months ago, I pledged £5000 for a sewing centre in Lebanon for syrian refugee widows. Widows who have children. Some who are striving to earn a daily wage so that they don’t have to SELL THEIR DAUGHTERS to the evil of this world!…I’m sorry…I know this line is harsh…but this is the fact that got me into an emotional wreck that day. The thought that had me weeping like a baby, deep inside that organ where you feel hurt the most. As I thought about my own daughters…I couldn’t even begin to imagine the hardships faced by these women (OUR SISTERS), to be put into such a situation..

Please please please..my dear sisters, I know I’m late in asking..but I beg you to help…be it £1, be it £5, be it £10 or be it a sincere dua from the flesh inside that yearns for our suffering ummah!

100% raised will go towards the running costs of the sewing centres, the wages for our sisters. And whats more…all clothes sewn are then distributed amongst syrian refugees. An investment that is stretched above & beyond!

Again..I know I’ve left it late..but I pray that Allah swt enables the target to be reached faster than I can ever imagine..and maybe even go beyond (AMEEN)..

For that day when I was told I was silly for pledging £5000…that I should have let the figure lower and then raised my hand…the only thing I say is what the dear sister said…’you only need to put your hand up….and Allah swt will do the rest!’…SUBHANALLAH.
