Zakat & Sadaqah Eligible

For nearly 20 years, the population in Gaza has faced immense tribulations.

There has been a severe blockade which has limited the entry of goods through land, air and sea throughout this period.

Having already faced many wars in the last decade, another severe war kicked off on the 7th of October, bringing about the death of more than 30,000 people, the majority of whom are women and children.

Millions are now displaced, facing homelessness, hunger, thirst and trauma. This trauma is not just physical but also mental, severely affecting nearly 800,000 children; the most saddening fact – nearly half under the age of 5. With worsening food shortages and inadequate sanitation facilities, Gazans are now facing starvation and disease.

World Care Foundation’s teams are on the ground, providing vital emergency relief. We’re prioritising the distribution of hygiene kits and food packs. We’re also providing essentials like medicine and clothing while working on organising shelter and resettlement projects for the long term prospects of these individuals.

The response in Gaza is not just immediate, but also medium to long-term, due to the devastating destruction across the entire Gaza strip.

A simple £100 donation will go a long way in providing emergency relief in the form of food, clean drinking water and warmth.

This vital supply of aid will not only bring relief to the Gazan population, but can also save lives. We all know the famous verse in the Qur’an where Allah (s.w.t.) says in Chapter 5, verse 32: “Whoever saves one life, it is as though he has saved all of mankind.”

We cannot ignore the people of Gaza in their hour of need. Being reliant on aid is something nobody wishes on their own family, but in times of war and crisis, families are forced to depend on humanitarian aid agencies to provide them with all they need so they can satisfy their hunger, thirst, issues with displacement and ultimately, relieve their distress. We urge you to make a generous donation with whatever you can afford and here at World Care Foundation, we will do the rest. The cries of Gaza can be heard around the world. Will we answer?
