An incredible journey in aid of Palestinians in Gaza

The Hajj is the largest annual religious pilgrimage in the world. While most will arrive by flying or driving, this year, in keeping with the traditional spirit of exerting one’s upmost to reach this noble destination, two brothers from Edinburgh, Scotland will for the first time, embark on the journey on bikes.

On Monday 1st April, Abdul Rahman and Reehan Ali, will begin their journey from Bonnyrigg Mosque in Midlothian to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. The journey will take approximately 60 days and cover 3,735 miles, passing through no less than 13 countries to reach Madinah in Saudi Arabia on May 30th.

Follow The Journey

For the first time ever, two cyclists will take on a ground-breaking challenge; riding all the way from Edinburgh to Madinah on a journey of over 3,500 miles as they Pedal 2 Hajj.

Their vision is to raise funds for projects in Gaza where the conflict has made life unbearable. Every mile they cover will help provide the people of Gaza with food, shelter and medical supplies.

Join brothers Reehan and Abdul Rahman on their mission to cycle from Edinburgh to Hajj where they will perform their pilgrimage. Throughout the journey the two cyclists will be using the Pedal 2 Hajj campaign to raise funds for the people of Gaza.

The people of Gaza are facing immense challenges because of the dire onslaught they have been forced to endure with daily bombings which have left Gaza decimated. As a result, there is now very limited access to basic necessities like food, clean water, and healthcare. Unfortunately, it is the women and children of Gaza who are suffering the most.

The brothers state that “Our goal is to collectively reach as many individuals as possible with this message to support the people of Gaza facing a humanitarian crisis. In our Millions we should support the appeal for the people of Gaza and donate even £1”

You can join Reehan and Abdul Rahman on their noble journey, by supporting their fundraising campaign for the people of Gaza. Working collectively your every donation will enable World Care Foundation to maintain its goal of delivering essential aid to the people of Gaza.
