Schools, roads, crops and livelihoods are gone and homes have been destroyed or badly damaged, leaving many homeless and exposed to the elements. The situation is expected to worsen with more monsoon rain, more glacial outbursts, and potential dam bursts.

Major Ahmad Nawaz and his team at MAB Trust are taking trucks of essential supplies to stranded survivors including food, cooking utensils, medical supplies, tents and mosquito nets/repellants. He will personally oversee the distribution of supplies to those in need.

MAB Trust is a registered charity in Pakistan that has been providing free medical services to the poor for over 50 years and is currently constructing a hospital with free facilities for those most in need.
